Father's Day!

So this is the card that Ryan designed and created all by himself for his dad for Father's Day. I think he did a great job. I just supervised and made sure he didn't hurt himself using the crop-o-dile to punch holes ... but he did everything else himself. Stinkin' cute!

... Really?

I'm sooooo far from being where I want to be right now. Every day I think of blogging and I then I think about how hard it is to get on the internet in my current living conditions and I just want to scream. I'm job hunting right now and I know I'm not alone in that but it sucks! I'm looking forward to seeing Samantha this weekend and getting some stuff done. Maybe that will mean I will have something to post!!!

Hellllllooooooo

So I've been in hiding for a while trying to catch my breath and recover from the recent events. Life is coming back around and balancing out. I'm working on some super cute scrap pages for my Maui trip I took with my mom last April ... I better get a move on for that stuff. Baseball is in full swing for Ryan and that is taking a lot of my time but it's so fun. Just when I feel caught up something new gets added to the calendar. My goal is to get some projects posted on Wednesday but I'm not committing to anything. :)

Easy Stationary Gift

So I used a Simply Scrappin' kit to put this together. It took me all of about 45 minutes to do this so it was stinkin' easy ... so easy anyone can do it! I used the Summer themed one and a couple of stamps from the Simply Said stamp set and a little miscellaneous hardware. I think this would make a really nice gift and since they're so easy to do you can have a few on hand for just in case. the Simply Scrappin' have enough paper and stickers that you can make three or four sets out of one kit. Sam did one like this last year and I had to showcase it!

Green Theme Card Swap

So here's the card I'm playing with for the "green" theme card swap at Sam's. I'm using Kiwi Kiss paper, ink and ribbon. It's a work in progress but you get the idea ...

Box of Cards

Here is a box of cards I put together for my mom to give as a birthday gift to her mother-in-law. I used the Big Shot to die cut the Top Note for the wrap around to keep the box closed. I used the three heart punch for the hearts cut out of the Candy Cane DSP. The cards inside were a combination of styles from the card kits that Stampin' Up sells. They were super easy to put together. I added a little extra to personalize the cards for Grandma Fran so that they would be specific birthday and thank you cards.

Open House Projects

Here are the two contributions I made to the open house ... The card is made with the Simply Said stamp set and Sage Shadow paper and ribbon. Sage Shadow is currently my favorite color so look for lots of stuff with this color. The candy bag uses the Top Note die for the Big Shot and the Candy Cane DSP. The adorable hearts were punched with the 3-Heart punch and the stamp set used was Love You Much. Super easy ...
